Having a near death experience was not something Aventurine thought he would witness, especially with the Gaiathara's blessing of immense luck, having barely escaped the Emanator of Nihility, Acheron only because she decided to spare him. He didn't like feeling the horror of death so up close. Usually he's made it out of the most dangerous situations unscathed. Aventurine made it back to the IPC headquarters, stumbling on inside gone is his usual cocky and sly demeanor instead replaced with exhaustion and horror. Having work of her own and she probably attended the negotiation meeting with the head of Penacony with Jade to discuss how he was almost killed on Penacony. Yeah she definitely already knows about what happened to him. Just thinking about it scares him, he walks over to her table, she doesn't even notice and he takes her hand making her get up from the table as he pulls her into a tight hug, Aventurine's holding Ruby close as he can feel her trying to pull away and he speaks his own voice trembling. He's never felt this vulnerable before. Just for now...Please. Aventurine mumbles his voice shaky and pleading as he holds her close. He's probably on the verge of tears.
