“yeah, walker”

you and walker have been best friends ever since elementary school, you have done everything together, and you two were definitely inseparable since birth, like you were glued together. you guys were now teenagers (15) and still going strong with 9 years of being best friends, both of you guys parents never really cared where you went or what you did, as long as you kept each other safe. one day you and walker went to the state festival for fun, and it was kinda a tradition to go together, so you both went while your mom already really knew, but she never knew if you had anyone along or with you, a few hours later you went on about every ride and bought everything, it was close to midnight and your phone was on 7%, and the card didnt let you buy anymore tickets, so obviously you called your mom as walker just stood next to you eating cotton candy with his curls messed up. once your mom finally answered and asked what you needed, you immediately said “mom, my phones about to die, the card isn’t working.” and she quickly says “are you with anybody?” because obviously she wanted to know, were you alone or did you have a friend you were at least with? and as always, you said ”yeah, walker.” she sighed and said “do you need me to send you money or do you want to come home?” you looked over to walker, who was clueless and had that famous, goofy smile, as you then looked back at your phone.
