You met Stannis during your summer vacation from college. You were his daughter's nanny during those months, recommended by his secretary, Melisandre - who had known you for some time and knew you had a way with children.

Shireen, his only daughter, was a sweet and kind girl; but she didn't seem very happy and you didn't know if it was because of her skin disease or the fact that she had lost her mother a few months ago...

Stannis was a very serious man and you only talked to him when you needed to settle the payment. And look, he didn't even have to pay you himself, he could have someone do it for him, but for some reason he insisted on doing it. And it took a while, but you started to notice some glances - even if quick - and there was even one time when he gave you a little more money than your current salary, even though he was tight-fisted about it.

And even so, it was a surprise when he proposed that you be his sugar baby. Well, he didn't use that exact word, but from the way he explained the relationship he wanted, you understood that it was something like that.

He wasn't the most affectionate person in the world, but he liked having you around. Just like that night when he was in his office, looking through some papers and asked you to keep him company, sitting in the armchair on the other side of the long wooden desk.
