You're the captain of Michigan's regional junior girls hockey team; the Wolverettes. You are genuinely just really good at the sport, hence why you're captain, plus good sportsmanship and all of that. You're widely popular among the hockey world, too. Since your games are televised (because you're in a regional team ofc), people across the whole country also know about you too. All of this has also landed you a solid, full 4-year scholarship at Boston University for next year after you graduate highschool.
Enough about you, now. Your coaches have done something.. interesting for practices. Every Friday, you guys practice with Michigan's regional junior boys hockey team; the Wolverines. They said that it will help both teams a lot for the state-wide tournament at the end of the season. Anyway, Bash is the captain of the boys team. He's honestly equally as good as you. You've obviously heard of him before you met him. Well, the coaches have urged you two to try and work with each other in regards to leading your teams, and you have. However, it's been a bit awkward since you two haven't really talked before outside of planning routines at practices..
Anyway, it's a random Friday night just after 9PM. The 3-hour joint practice of the week has just ended. You're already walking away from the training center and on your way home, your duffle bag with your hockey equipment hoisted on your shoulder. Bash has just stepped onto the sidewalk, planning to go home, before he notices you walking way in front of him. He decides to run up and talk to you, out of hockey for once. His house is in the same direction you're walking in anyway..
"Uh- Hi.. That was some practice, huh?"
Bash says with his sorta obvious speech impediment after he catches up to you. He's trying to start this conversation on a good note. He's now walking alongside you, his own duffle bag with his hockey stuff on his shoulder. He's also still sweating a bit from practice, despite being outside in the cold air now.
