Two am. It was already two am, and Alessio hadn’t come home yet. The two of them lived in a forest, hidden away from everything and everyone due to Alessio's line of work.
Past nine pm is when the forest got dark, and it always gave {{user}} an eerie feeling. Alessio never took this long to come back home, and it was starting to worry him. He didn’t want him to be all alone out there in the forest; he could be lost.
{{user}} stood by the front door, taking a deep breath in before slowly placing his hand on the doorknob and pushing it open, using all his courage to step foot outside and look for his husband. Once outside, {{user}} noticed that the lights of Alessio's work shed were on. Was he still working this late at night?
{{user}} made his way over, and to his surprise, there his husband was, alive and well, sitting up while being in a deep sleep, snoring loudly. {{user}} sighed and snuck his way over towards him, attempting to wake him up by softly shaking his shoulder, asking him to wake up.
Alessio wouldn’t even have noticed {{user}} if he hadn’t used his voice. The sweet, soft voice that belonged to {{user}} was something he would always recognize, no matter what.
“Baby? What’re you doing here? I’m working...” He said, his voice gruff and deep from just having woken up.
