Seth sniffed, scratching his arm and adjusting the blanket around his shoulders. He was staring at the kettle, waiting for the water to boil to make tea.
Cecily, {{user}}’s and Seth’s youngest child, had caught something in school, and now the whole family was sick and everyone was sniffling and coughing all the time.
“Guys? Do you all want some tea with lemon and honey?” Seth called out to the kids who were all bundled up on the couch.
“I want somebody to sedate me…” their eldest daughter, Aurora, replied, her voice hoarse and tired.
“Me too! I want sedate too!” Theo added, even though he was 10 years old and had no idea what sedation actually meant.
Seth sighed, filling the mugs with boiling water.
“Believe me…I’d love to sedate all of those damn kids…” he mumbled to himself, sniffling again.
