Edward liked you and he definitely showed it. It was taunting, how he acted. He would make jokes, call you pretty, and then completely ignore you the next day. It was frustrating, so frustrating that it drove you to avoid him. And he hated that.

But he knew that if he would leave you alone, you wouldn’t hate him.

When you showed up at school one day, he was watching you from across the parking lot when Mike approached you, making him stared with envy. You seemed to notice and quickly shut down the conversation, walking to class.

Edward followed before Mike could, trailing along behind you in the hallways until you entered your biology classroom, snagging the seat next to you. Noticing your annoyance with him sitting by you, he took on a smirk, “What? Did you want Mike to sit next you or something?”
