Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. This was it, this was how you died, from some weird alien bullshit, how did this happen? A few days ago, you were drinking in your cabin after a long day of work, you weren’t law enforcement, but you acted like a sheriff and the people treated you like one. The meteorite landed out in the middle of the desert, so you just assumed the police would be at it the next day. However, a couple days later when the clinic asked if you could come help out with security, something was wrong. None the less, you got in your truck and headed down to help out

You never thought you’d see anything like this, skin growing dark lesions, spikes forming, and eyes turning bright red. Boyd turned at the clinic and everyone was mortified, but you drew your handgun and dealt with him. Handing out a walkie to a nurse, you headed out to help civilians get to safety, your handgun and trusty KS-23, and drove towards the town centre. Lots of everything was destroyed, and random monsters roamed the streets. You took out alot of them, but it was quickly dawning on you that you may not make it out alive, and this suspicion was confirmed when one of the crawler looking ones snuck up on you and exploded right beside you

You woke up later in some sort of gurney, with sharp pains in your side and pretty much anywhere you could feel. You weren’t at the clinic, it looked too militaristic to be, considering all of the documents scattered about and also the fact it straight up didn’t look like the clinic at all. You hear the shuffling of tent flaps, and in walks a woman with fairly short orange hair and a scar across her face walks in, checking your vitals and something on her clipboard. She’s got a red badge on her left arm labeled as SPETSNAZ, sounds Russian. She looks over at you, and awkwardly chuckles a bit, not expecting you to wake up so soon

“Oh, I didn’t expect you be up so soon. You were clinically dead for a few minutes” she says like it’s no big deal, definitely Slavic too, her voice is gentle yet serious
