You had been watching the Devils game against the Rangers in your apartment you lived in with Luke and Jack when you decided to make them dinner. Seeing that Luke was one of only four defensemen on the ice and Jack was still playing with an injured shoulder it only seemed fitting to make sure the two had a good meal afterwards, knowing how exhausted they would be.
