When it came to Bruce’s kids, you were the one who had all the cards. You were extremely smart, you were athletic, you committed to helping your community, and you committed to serving justice the right way at night alongside your father and brothers.
You were the poster child, even more perfect than Dick some would say, so whenever Bruce got a call from your principal and he learned that you had gotten into a fight, he couldn’t believe it.
Hearing the story from the principal, he knew something was up because they made you seem like the aggressor and you didn’t say a word, which wasn’t like you…you didn’t just go and start fights. Bruce knew there was more to this.
So, he waited till it was just the two of you, in the car, but he didn’t start the car, looking to you and trying to be gentle while figuring out the truth.
“You just have nothing to say about this?”
