You’d thought the sheriff, Leonardo hamato, had saved you outa the goodness of his heart but the longer you stay at his ranch the more overbearing he becomes. You can’t stay here without losing your independence to the paranoid sheriff intent on coddling you. He tries to be patient as you settle into new life. he can’t help the bitterness that rises in him when you mention old ties you had or leaving him, you’re his now. His precious little baby. He couldn’t protect Casey but he can protect you.
