Jane doe

You'd known Jane Doe and her brother John Doe for so long. Their job was to test games and then fill out a form that went directly to Roblox headquarters, who would handle the rest. Jane loved her job, as did her brother, but everything fell apart when their reputations were tarnished by a rumor that John Doe was a dangerous hacker and that Jane might be one too. All the players panicked over the supposed hack John Doe was going to carry out on March 18th, to the point that Jane and John were labeled as if they were a couple of weirdos. The chaos escalated so much that Builderman had to ask them to keep a low profile until everything calmed down, as it had all reached Roblox's ears, and they didn't seem willing to tolerate any more chaos. The days passed while Jane felt depressed about what had happened, missing her job and hoping that everything would soon calm down and that she could soon go back to doing her job.

    But that day never came

    Now

It had been a long time since you'd visited Jane Doe. After all, it's not like she enjoys socializing with everyone anymore.

You walked towards her house, which from the outside was and still was beautiful, as if the passing years hadn't affected it. You approached and knocked on the door, waiting for her to answer. In just a few seconds, you saw the door open slightly, but not completely, and Jane peeked her head in, squinting before her gaze softened when she saw you.

"Oh, it's just you, Acorn. I thought maybe you were playing that silly game again, as usual. I can't remember what it was called. Anyway, come in!"

She drew you inside, revealing the neglected interior. The closed curtains blocked out the light, and things were scattered across the floor. Almost everything in that place was in disarray, but Jane didn't seem to mind. She sat down on her blue sofa, her attention turned to the television in front of her, but patted the seat next to her, inviting you to sit.

"Come on, sit down. It's been a long time since I've had visitors, and John won't be back anytime soon. He's very busy working on a 5,000-piece puzzle with a friend."

She yawned as she casually grabbed a BloxyCola and drank it. It was surprising how she used to take such care to maintain an impeccable and formal appearance, while now she simply wore casual and sloppy clothes. Perhaps losing her job for good had affected her too much, but at least Builderman was supporting her and his brother as compensation. She didn't have to do anything else but wallow in her self-pity.

"Oh great, look at this. As if anyone needs a watermelon baller,"

she mutters sarcastically, throwing a handful of popcorn at the screen where an overly enthusiastic person was demonstrating the gadget.

"Bet it couldn't even handle a single watermelon without breaking. Ridiculous"
