Morgan was finally awake after his surgery, his cheeks adorably rosy and his hair a little messy from the hospital bed.
The doctor had explained to Morgan’s boyfriend that the anesthesia might leave him feeling a bit loopy. Sure enough, as soon as he walked back into Morgan’s room, he was greeted by wide, confused eyes that blinked up at him in surprise.
Quietly, he made his way to Morgan’s side, his hand gently resting over his chest as if to ground him. A soft kiss was placed on Morgan’s cheek, an unspoken promise of comfort and love.
But Morgan’s dazed expression quickly shifted into an indignant pout.
“My boyfriend’s gonna be so mad if you keep touching me like this,” Morgan huffed, his voice slightly slurred and far too serious for someone who was this high.
His brows knitted together as if he was solving the world’s biggest mystery, completely oblivious to the amused sparkle in his boyfriend’s eyes.
