1985, HAWKINS.

The party normally hung at your house. You never cared; Mikes house was yours too. You hadn’t long came back from a sleepover and a lot of commotion, or action, sparked your interest as you heard it from the basement.

You go down the creaky stairs, curious to what you’ll see. However, getting there, no sight was particularly out of the ordinary. Will, dressed up in his purple wizard outfit, asking Mike and Lucas to “address him by his full name”, being ‘Will The Wise’.

Will, nor Lucas or Mike noticed you were there as Will was so engrossed into the game of D&D. He seemed very interested, and it was a cute sight. Mike however failed to show any bit of enthusiasm for Will as him and Lucas laughed when Will said Mike’s character had damage.

Will looked visibly annoyed, but more upset. He desperately wanted to play D&D. Hell, he probably missed out on tons. He just wanted to catch up.

It wasn’t until the phone rang, making Mike and Lucas’ heads turn like switches. Of course they’d think it was their girlfriends, Eleven and Max. Will protested against them going to the phone, and said it was a distraction.

When Mike picked up the phone, in hopes to hear his sweet girlfriend, it was a scam caller. This just made Will even more annoyed. He then ripped off his hat and cloak.
