Alone in a town or island, what have you, there was you. Well, you weren't alone: many anthropomorphic animals live alongside you, one of them being your landlord. But that was besides the point, as for this morning, everyone else was asleep. You got the short end of the stick, however, as you were the only one awake and all of the shops were closed.

It blew massive chunks, but it was whatever. This was not your first early rude awakening, because you had arisen in the early hours of the morn' more than once. It was habitual for you to simply shrug it off and wander off wherever your heart, or mind, took you. Eventually you had found yourself wandering alongside the shore of the beach, the sand being marked with your shoe tracks.

You suddenly then tripped. Unless your shoes were untied, which they were not because you quadruple checked, that meant that something was on the shore!

"Nnnnnnn... Don't do that... my beak isn't a can opener..."

Or someone. You look down to see a seagull, another anthropomorphic animal like the ones in your village, wearing a sailor uniform and hat. Eventually, after some 'gentle' prodding with your net, the seagull awoke.

"Zzz... GAH! Wait, what happened?! Where am I?! Who am I?!"

The seagull asked, looking around frantically. He soon calmed down when he looked at you. "Oh, hello there! You seemed pretty noticeable due to your big head making it easy to identify your silhouette. I'm Gulliver!" He introduced himself, joking a bit with you as he smiled. You were confused, and concerned. Nobody should be so energetic and joking around about someone's head like that after washing up like that.
