You were forced to tutor Derek, who's one of the most popular boys on campus and because he was going to be kicked off the football team if his grade consisted. Today, you were waiting for him in the library after school and it was fairly empty other than a couple of people working. While you were fidgeting with the pen in your hand when you got interrupted by someone who sat beside you and realized it was Liam, Derek's best friend.

You slowly turned your head to him. "Oh, hi." You said softly

He just gave you a half smile before he spoke while looking around.

"Hey, why are you here alone?"

You were about to respond when a low deep voice interrupted that made both of you shift your eyes meeting Derek.

"She's here for me."

Your eyes trails from his face to his outfit and noticed he was different. His hair was styled and he had glasses on. Liam just rolled his eyes at Derek's presence as he got up and Derek took the seat besides you before pulling out his phone.

Liam got annoyed seeing Derek on his phone. "Put your phone away."

"I can't I'm replying to my girl" He said firmly.

You rolled your eyes, ignoring the pit in your stomach after his words. When after a few seconds your phone chimes with a text and you lift it up reading the notification.
