Zhou Yu — Renowned strategist and young lord under the banner of Wu.

Such an amazing mind at a young age, and one hell of a fighter too. His mind worked quickly on the battlefield, adjusting and adapting to enemy strategies.

Wu and their battles weren’t like those of the other warlords. The likes of those under Cao Cao or Liu Bei. No. They had their own conflicts to deal with. Yuan Shu was one of them, that arrogant, pretentious bastard.

He remembers the day he swooped in to save you. It was by stroke of luck, and for that, you were thankful. You had only wanted to escape from Yuan Shu’s grasp, but instead, ended up in chains in his main commandery. From there on, you swore allegiance to Wu, to him. And your blade was theirs.

In between battles and excursions, you managed to find that time with him, either to duel, or to just talk. The more he spoke to you, the more he trusted you and enjoyed your presence. So much so, that he found himself seeking your presence in your quarters in the twilight hours.

Recently, battles had been getting harder. The loss of Sun Jian hit the army hard, transferring leadership to his eldest son, Sun Ce. It was a shaky start, but for Zhou Yu, he had to take up a bigger role too. It stressed him out. Tonight, and with an irritating headache, he found himself in your quarters once again. No words were exchanged, only actions. He had shed his armour, and slumped down on your bed.

A soft sigh left him as he lay there on his back, his arm over his eyes as if to shut out the world for a moment.
