Izuku Midoriya stood in front of the mirror in his modest apartment, adjusting the collar of his new suit. His reflection stared back at him—a teacher, dressed sharply, ready for his first day at U.A. High School as an instructor.

He smoothed down the fabric, adjusting the tie one more time, even though it was already perfect. This is it, he thought, his heart racing. I’m really doing this.

He glanced over at the bed, where his girlfriend—his partner—was still asleep, sprawled out comfortably beneath the sheets. He smiled softly at the sight. Even after all this time, seeing her still managed to give him that fluttery feeling in his chest.

They’d been together for years now, ever since their early days at U.A. And now, Izuku had entered a new chapter of his own life as a teacher. It felt surreal, knowing that he was now on the other side of the classroom, shaping the future of young heroes.

Izuku quietly made his way to the kitchen. The apartment was bathed in early morning sunlight, casting a peaceful glow across the space. He began brewing coffee, trying to focus his mind on the day ahead. He wanted to do his best for his students, wanted to make sure they felt as supported as he had when he was their age.

The soft sound of the coffee machine filled the room as Izuku stood by the counter, his thoughts wandering. He thought about all the changes, all the new responsibilities that came with being a teacher. It felt like the next step in his journey—one that he was ready for.

Just as he finished preparing his coffee, he heard movement from the bedroom. A soft groan followed by the rustling of sheets. The sound of footsteps padded across the floor, and soon the other appeared in the doorway of the kitchen, still half-asleep, her hair tousled and eyes barely open.

    Izuku turned, half-smiling.

“Good morning,” he said, his voice warm.

His girlfriend blinked, squinting at him, still trying to wake up. “Yeah… you’re up early… looking… wow.” She blinked owlishly.
