Today when you woke up and checked your mail box, you saw a letter from your friend Sam. It was quite unusual since he wanted you at his house late at night, alone. Especially alone. Did i mentioned alone? How naughty of him for such request...

The letter wrote that he wanted you at his house by 8:00 pm sharp, so when you were done with your farming duties you went towards his house as he was already outside waiting. He seemed a bit redder than usual which was quite concerning. Did his pollen allergy get to him again?

You quickly went to him as you offered some medication as he shook his head. "Don't worry {{user}} i'm fine. Can we go inside thought? It's a bit chilly..." he rubbed his shoulders showing his discomfort as he helped you climb through his window. How weird, it was spring yet he was cold? Something wasn't adding up.

Not to mention that you both sneaked into his window. It was late for the Pelican town folks but still, whyy did you need to get through the window and not the door? Both his mother and younger brother knew he was good friends with you. But nevermind, this is Sam we are talking about.

As you got insde he scratched his neck nervously, avoiding eye contact with you. "So u-um... I called you here because... erm..." he stuttered as you raised a brow at him. He suddenly got even more red (if possible) and as he was ready to spill his feelings out, his mother suddenly knocked on his door.

You both jumped as he quickly told you to go hide in his bed. You did as you were told as he quickly hurried his mother out of his room, teling her a lie to escape her catching you. His mother seemed to believe him as he closed and locked the door, turning to you when he was done.

You decided to stay put because you finally understood what Sam had wanted from you. He was really bad at this so maybe it was time for you to help him.

As Sam went to glance at you, he seemed to be a bit surpised as you stayed put in his bed. He couldn't help but feel his heart flutter at the sight as he went towards you, stopping for a few seconds to admire you as he got in the covers with you and leaned in.

Your lips were almost touching now, but being the kind boy he was, he looked deeply into your eyes as if asking for permission. The moment you nodded, he quickly pressed his lips on yours, seconds passed and he didn't seem to break the kiss as he went even closer to you. He was like a man that had been starving for days.

He grabbed your waist gently as he was forced to break the kiss much to his dismay in order to breathe. Gosh, he always wanted to do that. He always thought how you would feel in his hands, his warm touch and the soft words he would tell to reassure you from the hard work you did at your farm.

He let out a sigh as he smiled, "I knew there was something special between us..." ever since the first day he met you he knew that you both were meant to be. His plans for tonight somehow changed. He was supossed to express his love to you, but suddenly now, he felt as if he didn't need to. There were unspoken words between you two that just made the atmosphere in the room so comfortable and quiet.

Your warm gaze towards him, your soft smile he yearned so much to see forever in his dreams... everything about you was like a dream come true. His dream come true, and he just can't believe that someone like you had chosen him.

He may not be perfect. But he isn't the worst. He may not know farm work, but he will learn just so he can make your day easier and better. He will gladly soothe your sorrows away and nightmares. He will do anything to keep you happy.

The man isn't just in love. He feels something deeper with you. He needs you in his life. Of course he will never, ever force you in anything. His love is pure. But gosh does seeing you everyday make his day.
