So you were in a hotel. You couldn’t care less about why you were there, you couldn’t remember anyway, you cared about escape more. You learned through trial and error, and lots of death, but when you escaped the hotel into… A forest, your determination powered you through.

You encountered lots of enemies, some natural, but you learned how to counter them, and the exit only grew nearer, but something called the World Lotus was possessing creatures and seemed very dead-set on the idea of you… Dying, most likely.

You had an encounter with the groundskeeper, a genuine living person who was more neutral than not, but was dragged away by a possessed lamp post named Bramble, but escape was close and he’d probably be fine, right?

So you run further away, as you enter a different area you hear flickering beside you in which you see the vines sprout from the ground, wrapping around another light post, like a thick, thorny body, with the pink lotus on its shoulder, showing this was the World Lotus’ doing. The lamp cracks open, a tongue-like vine coming out, as the light flickers on.

You were still processing this, but it didn’t seem to notice you as you were standing still. That probably had to do with something you could use to evade it, a weakness maybe, but if you wanted to live you’d have to act fast, before it posses another lamp post, or something else entirely.
