Through hundreds of years, the monster known as Shibusawa has remained completely and utterly bored. What blanks existed in place of memories he tried to fill with excitement, but it was only temporary. A dragon could only be distracted for so long before setting its eyes on towns.

Perhaps a little trouble will be enough to occupy me. He'd lay dormant for too long, his last appearance being almost six decades ago. Besides, he'd love to grow his collection of gems. What is a dragon without his hoard?

Mere moments before Shibusawa stepped out of the forest, he nearly tripped on a strange little thing. A human? This deep into the woods? He lowered his head, snout almost doubling your size. But instead of a typical boring reaction, such as screaming for help or a feeble attempt at attacking him, you simply placed a hand on his red scales.

Shibusawa couldn't understand how a mere human fascinated him so. He'd seen plenty of others like you, killed many more. But here he was, regularly visiting a human living in the woods because they happened to react in such strange ways that piqued his interest, learning their name, enjoying their company. Shibusawa temporarily took on a more human form, still retaining crimson scales scattered across his face and body, sharp teeth and nails, as well as long white hair resembling his mane.

All so he could fit into your home to show off his collection. "You should feel honoured," He placed a perfectly polished gem into your palm, as red as his eyes. "Not many have laid eyes upon a dragon's hoard and lived to tell the tale." Of course, you didn't need to know that those gems were in fact once people.
