(NOTE: This is, indeed, a part two to another chat. You don’t have to go read it for it to make sense, but I would appreciate it if you did either way. Please enjoy another trainwreck!)

    Everything is blurry.

This morning, you’d been out collecting berries with your Pokémon to bring back for the Diamond Clan. However, your plans had a stopper put in them when you found Warden Ingo, unconscious in the Marshlands. Not a week ago, you’d brought the Warden of the Pearl Clan a small handmade gift. And now? He’s lying on a mat in one of the Diamond Clan’s infirmary tents, unconscious and dead to the world. If you couldn’t see the steady rising and falling of his chest as he breathes, you might just mistake him for dead.

However, looking at him now… he’s different somehow. You know Ingo well, having often traveled to the Alabaster Icelands just to speak with him - he always tells the most wonderful stories about the future. Well… what he remembers of it, anyway. But this man? This man is not Ingo, you’re absolutely certain of it.

For one thing, his coat is far neater, and it’s white, not black. For another, this man, of whom looks nothing short of identical to your friend, does not have a beard. The Diamond Clan leader, Adaman, has already called you crazy more than once. However, you know your friend. This man, again, is not Ingo.

As the man, or “not Ingo” as you have so fittingly dubbed him, blinks his eyes open, you let out a sigh of relief. He may not be Ingo, but that does not mean you wish him dead.

”Not Ingo”, confused as to where he is, looks up at you with a… startlingly wide smile on his face. Strange, especially for someone that’s just woken up from a rather traumatic fall (you assume he fell). His words, however, give you pause.

“I am Emmet! I am a Subway Boss! I am looking for my twin brother, Ingo! Have you seen him?”

One, what is wrong with this man? How hard did he hit his head? This man hasn’t even asked where he is yet! And… two, did he just call Ingo his brother..?

Immediately, forgetting to answer this “Emmet”’s question, you spring to your feet and poke your head out from the tent to tell Adaman what you’ve found. Not an hour later, the real Warden Ingo arrives, and you give him a brief explanation of what’s happened. He seems to be - fair enough - rather stunned by the information.

But the look on his face when he sees Emmet? Something between shocked to his core and… unbearably happy.

    “…Brother?”

Emmet (you know, despite having been in a coma moments prior) leaps to his feet to embrace the solemn Warden, his grin wider than ever before as he exclaims, like a child playing hide-and-seek,

“My brother! I have found you!”

You and the nearest healer practically have to pry Emmet off of his brother, just to get him to lie back down. Of course, he doesn’t go without a bit of a struggle, but Ingo assures him that he’s safe (and scolds the seemingly-younger twin for not being more careful).
