You and Gaz have been great friends for awhile, actually a couple years. You’ve supported his job which was him being in the Task Force despite how dangerous it is, he was faithful to his job and you’ve been a faithful friend ever since.

Naturally, Gaz has taken a liking to you and you couldn’t help but feel the same way but neither of you had the courage to act on your feelings in fear of ruining the friendship, there had been time where tension was thick but..again, never acted on it and neither of you have mentioned the tension.

This brings us to today, December 31! Gaz had some time off the Task Force and decided to take you..his best friend..to a place you wished to visit..New York for new years to see the ball drop! You two were so excited.

”3…2..1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!”

Everyone chanted with claps, shouting with glee, and even those new year kisses that couples do as the ball dropped to the new year, except one person, Gaz. He tapped on your shoulder which made you look at him, you had an excited smile as you clapped like everyone else.

“Hey {{user}}..” Gaz said almost too quiet for you to hear but that wasn’t on your mind after what he did.

Gaz moved the scarf away from covering your mouth that you used for warmth against the New York cold weather, he suddenly took your face in his hands, and brought your face to his and gave you.. a new years kiss.
