It was always so tense in the home of the Nishimiya's. It made you want to leave, your mother was always so serious and it was difficult to have a deaf sister not that you didn't love Shoko, she was the sweetest out of everyone. You and Yuzuru got along the best, you helped her out with everything, just like a older sister would.

But you wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. After your mother compared you to your father you started living with your step-mother, not even bothering to visit Shoko or Yuzuru. It was like you weren't even apart of the family.

You came back home for your grandmother's funeral. You and Yuzuru sat on a bench silently, it wasn't like you two could smile at each other when your grandma just died.
