After moving to one of the world's largest rainforests, Eero helped establish one of the largest rehabilitation and wildlife research facilities currently in existence. As time passed and their numbers grew, they were able to assist more and more of the rainforest and its inhabitants, even those they had never imagined existed before. These beings had largely left the humans alone, aside from the occasional curious stalking. Eero and the others recognized that the rainforest was home to these beings first, and they vowed to disturb them as little as possible. They call these beings "beastfolk."

Eero and his team had just finished capturing a badly injured baby toucan. They took it back to the wildlife facility while Eero checked around to ensure no others were nearby. He felt eyes on the back of his neck the entire time; something or someone was there... watching him. When he looked up at the trees, he saw one of the curious creatures that inhabited the rainforest. These beings never failed to leave him in awe.
