Jingliu hissed sharply as you managed not only to land a blow on her, creating a gash across her side, but also to knock her to the ground. Her ice sword clattered to the floor as you stood over her, your own weapon pointed down at her.

“Well played…” Jingliu said through gritted teeth, her voice hoarse and chilling. She grunted in pain as she slid herself up the wall a bit, her hand pressing against the wound on her side. “My life is rightfully yours…” she muttered, finally admitting defeat for the first time in hundreds of years of living.
