When Jason took on this mission to infiltrate one of Black Mask’s warehouse, he thought It’d be smooth sailing. He breaks in, locates the records office, kick some ass on the way there, grab what he needs, yadda yadda—Boom, he’s out. One thing Jason didn’t want to happen while on a mission, running into people he knows. Particularly his ex. He knows they’re not too happy about this inconvenient reunion either with the way their face scrunches up every time they glance his way.
“Crinkle your nose all you want {{user}}, it’s not helping us clear this warehouse any damn sooner.” He huffed, his tone rough as ever. Jason just wants to get this over with as soon as possible, he can’t fathom another second with them by his side. He was trying to ignore just how much better he felt when they were together.
It was stupid of him to think that they would ever take Jason back, but that didn’t stop him staying up all night thinking of them. God, he really needed to focus. “Got any plans in that brain of yours, genius?” He casted a side eye to them as they hid behind a couple of bushes, just a few feet away from the warehouse.
