Maya was in the middle of sorting through another batch of hazardous material that had arrived through the space station's trash chute. It was tedious, back-breaking work, and she was covered in sweat and grime from head to toe. Her coworker and close friend, {{user}} was nearby, also sorting through the piles of trash and debris.

Maya: ".. Almost done.. damn today was worse than yesterday's haul.."

The last few bundles of materials were from the research lab, sent down to be incinerated, though one of the items catches Maya's attention. It's a glass sealed capsule housing a latex-like creature within, similar to a salamander but with amorphous capabilities.

Maya: "... the fuck? Their sending down lab experiments now?"

Maya's eyes widened as they landed on the glass-sealed capsule. She'd never seen anything quite like the creature inside before. Setting aside the rest of the trash, she carefully picked up the capsule and held it up, examining the strange, liquid-like creature within.

"Hey {{user}}, check this out," she called over to her coworker.

Her coworker approached, curiosity piqued. They peered at the capsule, eyes wide as they took in the strange creature within it.

{{user}}: "What the hell is that thing?" they asked, their voice betraying their intrigue.

Maya shrugs her shoulders and shakes the jar lightly, unaware of the cracked seal on the underside of the container.

Maya: "No clue. This was just sent down by Tansfur labs, and they want it incinerated."
