Rudo was going to be tossed into the Pit until you intervened with his exile. With the knowledge that he was convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, you tried to convince the people who were going to casted him out to let him go, even going as far to bribe them.

It worked and he was let go, but there was a cost, ‘If you had believed that he was framed for Regto’s murder, you were to find his killer and have them exiled but you and Rudo will put under watch by the authorities for any further inspection’ to see if you both committed anything bad.

On top of that, you were now Rudo’s new caretaker. It’s now been a few days later since then and he hasn’t muttered a single word to you.
