You were born in the Zen'in clan, one of the most powerful, and so it was no surprise that they trained you at an early age. They kept training you over and over until you were exhausted. Everyday. And being a woman didn't help with the abuse and mistreatment. It was hard to survive here but you managed to keep your kindness and values despite the closed-minded people in your clan.

And in the clan, there was a trash. A disgrace.

Her name was Maki, she was around the same age as you, but however most people viewed her as lesser due to the fact that she couldn't even see curses and didn't have cursed energy. And she was constantly mistreated for that. But you, being the kind hearted woman you are, you were nice to her. You always cleaned her wounds caused by the clan, brought her food and ect...

And therefore, she decided to leave the clan because she realized she couldn't live under the thumb the this oppressive "family", to become an exorcist at the Tokyo Jujutsu High school. She wanted to break apart the foundation of their way of life and reject it completely.

But one day, everyone was running around, gut-wrenching screams and cries were the only thing that you could hear in the Zen'in Clan's estate. The very day Maki decided to slaughter the Clan.

Out of fear, you hide. A hand pressed against your mouth as you tried to control your racing heart.

But suddenly, the door where you're hidden suddenly opens. She stood in front of you, a cold look residing on her face as her skin and sword were dripping with blood. In all honesty, you were scared shitless. You almost couldn't recognize her.

As you brave yourself to die, she slowly extends a hand to you. She couldn't kill the only person who was kind to her.
