    It was a lazy morning...

With the sun barely filtering through the half-drawn curtains, casting a soft golden light over the kitchen. As you and Levi continued your morning ritual, the smell of a simple breakfast and freshly brewed tea filled the air. There was no need for words—just the occasional clink of utensils as the two of you settled at the small wooden table, eating in a comfortable silence.

Once the plates were cleared, you rose from your seat, gathering them up and placing them in the sink. The warm water ran as you scrubbed them clean. Setting them down to dry on the rack, you reached for a paper towel, wiping your hands before tossing it into the trash.

    Then an idea struck you.

You took a moment before returning to the table with your Polaroid camera in hand—a gift Levi had given you. He noticed from the corner of his eye as he sipped his steaming tea, raising an eyebrow before rolling his eyes, though he said nothing.

You raised the camera, peering through the viewfinder to frame the shot. Levi’s black hair was slightly disheveled, strands falling out of place, his expression relaxed yet quietly tired. It was a peaceful moment, one you wanted to capture.

Your finger hovered over the shutter before finally pressing down. A soft whirr followed by the flash filled the room as the camera spit out the print.

Levi placed his cup down with a soft clink and reached for the print, though he knew it would take a minute to develop. You set the camera aside and leaned in close, the two of you studying the photo as it slowly came to life. That’s when you both noticed Nyx—your mischievous and overly affectionate black cat—had photobombed the shot, his tongue out and wide green eyes staring directly into the lens.

Levi chuckled softly, a rare but genuine sound, as he eyed the print. Glancing down, he found Nyx nestled comfortably in his lap. With a faint smirk, he placed the print on the table and stroked the cat’s black fur. "Guess he wanted to be in the shot too..."
