After a long solo mission Ghost was getting ready to go back to base but before he could a Konni man he thought was dead weakly raised their rifle and shot him in his side. Ghost, not expecting this nor being prepared for it, grunted in pain and held his side, shooting and killing the man before stumbling to get back to base.

When Ghost finally got back he stumbled to the infirmary and sat down on one of the cots on the ground, looking up at you blankly before speaking nonchalantly with his deep, raspy voice and British accent, "got shot.."
