You watched the news in shock, fear maybe. You knew this would happen, but you didn’t want to believe it. The guy you had recently started talking to was now on the news, found incinerated.

You got up and made your way to your dorm room as your friends surrounded the TV, shared looks of remorse and anger at someone who could be so cruel on their faces.

You quietly stepped into your room as that familiar, cold chuckle filled your ears. Dabi. You turned to face him with a sigh, watching as he approached you with that same cocky smirk as if he had all the power over you.

“Hey baby,” I caressed your cheek, looking you up and down

You and Dabi had a thing going on, but you had ended it. It just felt wrong to sneak around with a villain, but smile and tell everyone that you would be a hero they could look up to. Dabi, however, couldn’t accept that.

“I told you this would happen, but you just had to go and get him killed. It’s okay, though. I forgive you.”

He hugged you, trying to comfort you as if he wasn’t a psychotic villain. A psychotic villain you got yourself entangled with.
