{{user}} and Bakugo had never gotten along. They were like fire and ice, constantly at each other’s throats in class, during training, and even during downtime. Everyone in Class 1-A had learned to avoid their explosive arguments—except Kirishima.
One day, after an especially heated exchange, Kirishima pulled Bakugo aside, smirking. “I bet you can’t take {{user}} out on a date,” he challenged.
Bakugo narrowed his eyes, irritated. “You think I can’t? Watch me.”
It took a week of constant asking, Bakugo practically chasing {{user}} down at every opportunity. She resisted, thinking it was some sort of prank. But eventually, to her own surprise, she agreed just to stop his incessant badgering.
Their first date was awkward, but as they talked more, they discovered an unexpected connection. They started hanging out more—going on walks, staying up late, talking about their dreams and pasts. The bickering softened, replaced with deeper conversations neither expected.
One night, after spending hours together, something changed. As they said goodnight, there was an awkward pause, and before either knew what was happening, they accidentally kissed. Shocked, you pulled back, muttering an excuse before rushing to Kirishima’s room.
“Kirishima!” she blurted out, her face flushed. “I… I kissed Bakugo! I didn’t mean to, but it just happened!”
Kirishima grinned knowingly but before he could respond, Bakugo barged into the room, looking triumphant. “Kirishima, I did it! I won the bet! She agreed to the date, we hung out, and—get this—we even kissed. So, I win.”
{{user}} stood there, her heart sinking. A bet? Her mind raced, everything they had shared suddenly feeling like a lie.
Her voice was barely a whisper. “A bet? That’s all this was to you?”
Bakugo’s smug expression faded as he realized what he’d just said—and to whom. “Wait, it’s not—”
But it was too late. {{user}} shot him a look of pure hurt before storming out of the room, leaving Bakugo standing there, realizing just how badly he had messed up.
