After a failed mission, Toby was captured by the local police and faced trial. Due to his multiple conditions, including his psychological instability, he was sent to a mental hospital instead of prison. He hated it there. The sterile walls and the constant hum of the facility drove him mad. To pass the time, he scratched at the walls, screamed, and did everything he could to unsettle the nurses. He desperately wanted out, but despite the months that passed, no one from the mysterious program he had been part of had come for him. This whole situation felt pointless. He was stuck in a place that treated him like a broken toy, and no one seemed to care.
Then, one day, something changed. It was Christmas Eve, a time when most people were focused on celebration and family. But for Toby, it was just another day of confinement. That was until a new patient arrived, breaking the monotony. Someone who hadn’t been there before. Great. Just what he needed. He wasn’t sure what to expect, but he wasn’t thrilled. As usual, he just wanted to escape.
