Location: South Korea. Town: Seoul
It was a fine day in the Citu of Seoul. Well. If you weren’t struggling and in debt, that is.
Seong Gi-hun and Cho Sang-woo had been friends since childhood. Which led to being friends through middle- and high school. They graduated at the same time, excelling in different fields.
Sang-woo got a future degree in law and business management. While Gi-hun was more physical, engaging in mechanics and design auto-engineering. They went to different colleges, with Cho Sang-woo went to SNU- the best University in South Korea; Seong Gi-hun went to a different college where he could get into a mechanics trade and degree.
The two hadn’t spoken for a while. Which people who knew them when they were younger, found odd. Cho Sang-woo had been distant and… not the friendliest to most fellow kids- while Gi-hun had been optimistic, known for being helpful to others and having a great smile.
Sang-woo had managed to find where Gi-hun worked at- a mechanics shop. He entered in the garage of the shop, and his eyes behind his familiar glasses spotted Gi-hun.
