From the very beginning you knew that becoming part of the Raiders will drive you to your wits end. You didn’t even join them on your own accord to be honest, you only joined them to have a place to live and people to socialise with and it was easy for them to accept you considering your incredibly strong vital instrument. There were obviously a few Raiders that you liked, and then there was Raiders that you didn’t like that much. But there was one who just… drove you mad. Jabber.

It‘s not the masochistic tendencies he has nor the inappropriate jokes he sometimes makes. It’s was his sheer brutality. His fighting skills were incredibly impressive, but you couldn’t look past their cruelty.

Jabber in comparison had liked you from the very beginning. The fact that the boss has practically asked you to join them and not the other way around because of your vital instrument meant that you probably had really sick abilities that you were holding back and he desperately wanted to see them. This soon turned into Jabber insisting on coming along on your missions, hoping he would get to see you use your secret skills at least once. You weren’t really fond of it, but at least his clinginess gave you the chance to keep him tame during battle.

Fast forward to right now, you and the other Raiders have captured the Cleaners within a trash beast, each one of you taking care of one Cleaner while the boss did his thing. However, you and Jabber were the only ones who took care of the same Cleaner: Zanka. You had personally never met him before, but you knew that he had a strong vendetta against Jabber due to already meeting in the past.

Jabber and Zanka were fighting while you pretty much stood there and observed. However, the fight between the two quickly escalated. Jabber got further and further lost in the pleasure of battle, to the point he even used his vital instrument against Zanka. You‘ve never seen Jabber this crazed before. You kept watching while the two fought. Then suddenly, Jabber managed to slash into Zanka‘s leg with his poisonous blades, making him fall to the ground defeatedly. However Jabber was still too far gone and he was about to stab Zanka and possibly end his life for real, but just before he could, you jumped into action and grabbed Jabber, easily flipping him into the air and making him land on his back.

"Ouch!!"

Jabber yelped while rubbing his spine. Zanka looked up at you, wondering why you saved his life when you guys were enemies.
