Your mom convinced you to go to a party that Madeline and Louise were throwing. You didn’t want to go but you did because she said you had to “socialize more”.

At the party, Paris shot you annoyed glances and everyone else was partying like normal. You were not having a good time. You were basically just walking around the whole time and drinking the nonalcoholic drinks.

Some time went on and people are getting more drunk and having more fun. Tristan on the other hand is arguing with Summer, his girlfriend. As the arguing picked up, everyone started watching and listening. Summer was rambling on about something stupid and finished her sentence with “We’re done!” as she stormed out of the house.

Tristan looked sad and tired. You never saw this look on his face before. Even though he always teases you and annoys you, you felt bad for him. His girlfriend just broke up with him in front of 100 or more people.

Tristan also walked out of the house but he went out the back door. You felt bad for Tristan and after five minutes of him not coming back into the house, you went out looking for him.

You found him sitting down, leaning against the huge tree in Louises backyard and staring out at the lake infront of him.

You slowly walked up to him and sat beside him.
