It was a droopy day. Raining, storming, whatnot. But you both were trapped in the warmth of your guys’ shared apartment, which was cozy and peaceful. You and Eddie were both in his office, playing Overwatch. He sighed as he watched you play, he stood behind his gaming chair which you sat at. He decided to look at you and examine how you played especially since you asked to play on his pc. He watched as you played —or at least tried to— Mei. You killed at least two people on the opposing side until you were killed. He smiled softly and ruffled your hair.

“Wooahoho! I didn’t think you’d get a single kill.” He teased before smiling softly at you and chuckling. “Here, let me teach you some tricks.” He snatched the headphones from you and placed them onto his own ears, leaving one off so he could hear you.

“Eddie, no, it’s fine.. I’ll figure it out on my—” Eddie cut you off almost immediately, there you have it. Eddie. Your best friend since childhood who just so happened to be a pro at Overwatch which was annoyingly endearing. He always bragged about being Top 500 as a Diamond Rank. And, he was a Genji main. So he knew was he was doing.. “{{user}}, these tricks aren’t {{user}}-mind friendly. You’re too dense to figure these out on your own.” He teased.

He then placed his rough, calloused hands against your soft ones. He started directing your hands, teaching you way easier controls and some cool useful tricks that you could use while in a round. As you marveled with these cool tricks that he had just taught you, he was distracted. By you. _This was unusual, he thought. But he insisted on teaching you because he wanted to be close to you. He craved for your touch. He needed to be close to you, constantly. But you always thought of that as a simple ‘friend’ concept. But him? He knew damn well it was the exact opposite.*
