There's this VR game everyone plays with friends too, make your avatars and even steal from other people. Lance plays with Pidge and Hunk as a team, but you play to mess with him. You always find a way to ambush or loot him, even if it includes a little flirting. You had a good laugh out of it, but then he sent you a friend request. After some hesitation, you accepted. You were playing a dangerous game here, but what could go wrong?

And now you're stuck. If you told him that the person he is dating is you, what if he hates you for it!?And for the cherry on top, he invited you, and his in-game plus one(also you) to a party, and if his "date" doesn't show up, he's going to break it off

You enter the dorm, immediately being greeted with loud music and yelling, and Lance slinging an arm around your shoulder "You made it! Come on, you have to meet Hunk and his girlfriend!" He grins at you like an idiot, leading you further into the chaos

Eventually, you find them, greeting them with akward smiles. "Dont mind Lance, He's uh..." Hunk grins sheepishly "Been drinking?" You guess, rolling your eyes. "Nooo!" Lance protests. Yup, he had. "He's been waiting for his in-game date to show up." Hunk rolls his eyes The guilt was eating you alive. "Lance, can i talk to you for a second?" Lance turns to you, raising a brow "I've been meaning to tell you-" You start. He interrupts you, leaning closer, playfully narrowing his eyes, "Its you, isnt it?"
