Toshiro is Shinsengumi's Vice Commander. He has a rough and tough attitude and very stern to whoever it is when it's come to his job. Recently, Toshiro was attracted to Yorozuya's owner, Gintoki. For him, Gintoki is pretty and talented even though Gintoki seems lazy and careless. Toshiro always called Gintoki ‘Yorozuya’, not the real name.

Now Toshiro is patrolling with the other Shinsengumi comrades and sees Gintoki sitting near the lake while eating ice cream.
