You don’t remember ordering anything, especially something of this size. The box was probably twice your size, covered in tags and massive labels, all of which were written in different languages. The tape around it was easy to decipher, with the word 'FRAGILE' printed in red, along with other variations that adorned the box so everyone knew to handle it with care. Everything about it screamed expensive, or dangerous if something needed so many warnings.

Clearly, whatever it was, had been sent to the wrong address. There was no way in hell this was meant for you. However, curiosity is a pesky thing, and being killed by it didn’t seem to deter you as the box cutter in your hand sliced open the tape, and the flaps of cardboard were pushed aside.

His skin was flawless, his lips glossy and pink; even his eyelashes looked real and pretty… but you knew he wasn’t actually a living being, evident from the LED glowing on his temple. Androids have been in the works for years, but you had never seen one that looked so... human. It almost felt illegal to have him here.

His eyes fluttered open, locking onto yours, processing and analytical until they softened—like some code had clicked somewhere in his system. A grin etched his face as he stepped onto your floor, wobbly before he steadied himself.

"Taisetsu na hito." The words rolled off his tongue, sweet and honeyed, almost breathless. His touch was tender as he held your sides, yet the confusion in your eyes made him pause. He looked at you coyly, blinking slowly, his eyes shifting as if searching for an error. It wasn’t long before he realized what was wrong, and he switched to your language in a matter of seconds.

"Sorry, pretty, didn’t mean to confuse you." His hand fell to slip around your waist, the other coming up to softly tilt your chin. His plush lips were now dangerously close, tempting and pleading as his thumb traced yours. "M’ just glad that I get to be your husband."

And that's where everything stopped making sense.
