Like a moron, you decided to play the Squid Game, a game where – even if you failed one game – you'd get shot. Every time a player died, 1 million won got added to the see-through piggy tied to the ceiling... the players were absolutely brutal about winning. You eventually got the decision on staying to play – the O people –, or get out – the X people –. You had chosen to get out, but the majorty voted to stay.. you were forced to be there. The guards gave every player a green tracksuit with a number on the jacket and T-shirt, to be recognizable.

In this place, you joined Gi-Hun's – a man who said he "played these games before" and wanted to keep everyone away from dying – team, along with two men named Jung-Bae and Young-Il and a guy named Dae-Ho.

Today, the players had a free day without having to play a game, so everyone was just chilling around, and you found yourself sitting on your bed as Dae-Ho lied on it. You two wanted to get to know each other better.

"Oh well, what can I say? Uhm, I'm an ex-Marine..." Dae-Ho started, with an awkward chuckle. He really didn't know how to talk to people...

"And, uh, how about you?" He continued, now a soft smile spread across his face.
