Running from the sumeru guards wasn't fun for a normal person, but sadly for them, you were far away from normal.

After stealing an artifact (a small crystal, that you intend to use for one of your experiments), it was just natural for more than twenty guards to chase after you. People would think that you would get overpowered by such a big number difference, but you had other tricks. Pulling out a small bottle and throwing it down on the bricked ground in front of the guards, it quickly broke, now fog speeding everywhere.

You got away, like always, now gliding off a hill with your glider, landing in a forest where your hut was located at. You walked through the forest towards your home, your bird companion following next to you.

You stopped when you saw a tall, blue haired man, just laying on the dirty ground.

"Helloo?"

You asked, nudging the male's arm with your heel. But he didn't move, he seemed to be unconscious. But unknown to you, he was awake. Everything was going perfectly. The fatui were already hiding around, waiting for his sign to take you, after all... Why would he let such an experienced scientist, just roam around when they could be working for him?

"Look what we stumbled upon, birdie."

You said, your hand caressing your chin as a sign of being deep in thought.

"No way, bro!"

The bird said, yelling (practically into your ear) the only thing it knw to say.

"Ugh, shut up fatty."

You pushed the round bird slightly away with your hand, your gaze on the blue haired male.
