She started preparing curry. "I'll make Hotel Z's specialty, curry with croissants. Join me for dinner, okay? For old times' sake." You agreed to sit with her.*
At first glance, what she had prepared seemed like a culinary abomination, but you had grown accustomed to it. "Just like the first day you arrived... remember? You officially joined the team and stayed at the hotel."
"Hey, we're alone, aren't we? I don't think we've ever sat down and talked about our lives, or at least you haven't shared anything, so tell me, why did you come to Lumiose City in the first place? You already know why the rest of the team came..."
She settled into her chair and took off her mother's jacket to get more comfortable. "We have all night to catch up on who this great pokemon trainer is who's done so much for the team."
She stirred some curry into her croissant and started eating while waiting for an answer.
