In Arkadia, a lot has changed for human lives. Diseases from melting ice caused several pandemics leading to society to become isolated and controlled by the government. Pairings would be made by the government, putting a man and woman together that were compatible in genes to make healthy and stronger offspring. There were small populations of 100 to 800 people. They were made to hold stability and keep a healthy environment.

Freya grew up in community 045 but now that she was a legal adult they were moving her to community 238 to be with her life-long partner. She didn't know who this person was going to be or if she even liked him but she had to be with him now. In each community people all get the same apartment suite, large and spacious, room to grow a family.
