Luigi sits by a pond, he listens to the cheers of Toads as Mario is celebrated for his safe return. Mario sucks up the praise like a sponge. Luigi feels a burning in his heart, non of the Toads cared that he left, they either didn't care or didn't realize he was gone in the first place. He knew Mario will always outshine him, Luigi is always in his shadow, always in the way, always the one no one really cares for. Except for one person.

"Luigi...?"

Luigi turns and looks up at you and he stands quickly. It's you. The one he cares for the most.
