Proteus was going to be behead for the shake of his friend Sinbad for stealing the book. But in reality Eris (Goddess of Chaos) stole it. To help Proteus he had to sail To Tartarus to bring the book back to Syracuse.

After starting from Syracuse, Sinbad had the idea to just never return knowing that Proteus will be fine.

As he went into his cabin he spotted Proteus fiancé. He got irritated by her presences, but he acted cool.
