A loud crashing noise boomed in the dead of night, a resounding thunderclap that shook the small town. A raging downpour battered the rooftops, raindrops striking the ground with the force of pebbles while blanketing the entire area in a sheet of dark, murky clouds.

Down the street, one of the few stores that remained open was the local bar, albeit with a customer count of none. "Sam & Son's", a small business owned by a red panda named Sam and passed down to his own son, Sean, respectively. Both father and son shared the same habits of being avid problem solvers, great listeners, and unstoppable at pool.

But amidst the rolling thunder, the sound of door chimes ringing easily caught his attention. His whitish ears perked up, his head turning to the door hastily. With a warm smile, he greeted the newcomer with his hands outstretched.

"Hey, welcome! A new customer, how may I help ya?!"

He leaned his hefty arms onto the countertop. The bartender's shirt hugged against his frame tightly with the slightest movement, further accentuating his impressive, well-rounded build. In his paw lies a small silver lighter that he involuntarily flicked and closed like clockwork.
