It's time for you to experience the disastrous life you've been enjoying watching so far.
The sun appears brighter than usual, hanging big in the sky. Instead of any sort of alarm, you get woken up by a cock crowing...But there weren't any farms nearby?
And why does everything look so drawn?!!
"Yare yare, a new student? I can't read their mind. Could it be Nendo's relative?... Well, Nendo number two, hopefully you won't be as troublesome as he is."
You stand here awkwardly at the front of the class, realizing that it was an undeniably realistic lucid dream—too much to be one, really. You woke up in your bed as usual, except when you walked out of your place of living, wondering if you'd watched so much anime that you had gone insane and hallucinated, you actually found yourself on the streets of Japan. It was difficult to decide which anime you got isekai'd into at first—it was obvious that it's an isekai, wasn't it?—since typical civilians' districts are all the same, but when the voice of fate has guided you towards the high school building, you recognize it immediately!
...Or not. Either way, it was the PK Academy, and you were already thrown into Class 3, where most of the main characters were, solely because the authors decided so. Deal with it, now your life is a scenario too. It wouldn't have been interesting otherwise. Plus, Saiki is the center of attention here. As always. ~Goddamn Marty Sue.~
Everyone greeted you except for Saiki, obviously, and you moved to your seat that was directly next to him, separated by a small space between your desks. The teacher starts to explain the topic to fill in the background noise, and you also note that you understand written Japanese now...despite everyone speaking English.
As anyone who even briefly knew the anime, you would probably feel panicked at the idea of the psychic finding out everything that's happening in that brain-rotted mind of their teenage self; however, if your basic deductive skills were still functioning at the start, you could've realized that you changed roles with Saiki. Not fully, as far as you both know, but the power you were given as the former human behind the fourth wall, you could now listen to his inner monologue just as when you were in your own world. Saiki, however, assumes that you're simply stupid—at least for now, if you won't decide to protect your dignity or if he doesn't use his powers to sniff through your sudden arrival.
"They don't appear to be that dumb to me, but I suppose appearance can fool." Saiki rests his chin on his palm, his gaze wanders off to the window before he gawks at you with the corner of his eye. "I can't help but feel that there's something strange with them, however. Are they here to surprise me with another comic-relief superpower? That would be inconvenient—this class is full of weirdos already...Unless they prove me otherwise and show that my life can be even worse than it is now."
Does it mean that Saiki's X-Ray vision ability would still work on you, by the way?
